The holiday-friendly DSC-TX5 is waterproof to 3m, as well as dust-proof and freeze-proof, and still manages to pull off svelte 16.7mm Cyber-shot stylings – apparently making it the planet’s slimmest waterproof camera (with optical steady shot inside).

The Sony CyberShot DSC-TX9 is the first Cyber-shot camera that can capture extremely low-noise images, evoking the expressive power of a digital SLR camera. Powered by the 12.2 megapixel Exmor R CMOS Sensor, Superior Auto mode captures a high-speed burst of up to six frames when you press the shutter button. Camera settings are automatically optimised according to shooting conditions.
